a day in the life...

so a long time ago {aka when I had 3 people reading my blog} my blog's name was "A Day in the Life" -- funnily enough I never really talked much about our day-to-day lives. I have seen this post on a lot of people's blogs and thought I would post one...

Here's our day {I'm posting 2 variations as the ending changes per my mood}...

6:00 - Gene's alarm goes off...depending on his mood he *might* hit snooze
6:15 - Gene's up and heads downstairs to make coffee, let the girls out, feed the girls, maybe make breakfast
6:40 - Me crawl out of bed {usually when he brings me coffee or breakfast upstairs and pretty much forces me out of bed...I am NOT a morning person}
7:20 - Me out the door heading to work
7:35 - Gene heading to job #1
8:00 - my workday begins
10:20 - leave desk for more water
11:30 - more water
1:30 - eat lunch at my desk
2:30 - more water
5:00 - even more water
5:10 - Gene heads to job #2
6:00 - leave work if I'm lucky - usually not so much
7:00 - head home
7:30 - walk in the door - let the girls out
7:45 - find food for me
8:00 - feed the girls

option 1 for the evening:
8:02 - watch tv/play on the computer
10:30ish - Gene gets home
12:00 - bedtime for us and the girls

option 2:
8:02 - watch tv/play on the computer
9:00 - head upstairs to read
10:00 - me fall asleep while reading
10:30 - gene gets home
11:15 - girl's bedtime
11:30 - gene's bedtime

so there you have it. depending on my day/mood that's what my life is like. 98% of my time is spent at my desk...stuck there designing. I wish I could walk around more, but sadly that's difficult to do when I have people calling/e-mailing/needing things on the fly.
