bedroom set...

Forever ago I was searching for a new bedroom comforter set. Well, I finally decided on the Michael Kors {yes I am completely obsessed with him} Taos comforter set.

this one...

I bought the comforter set from Overstock around Christmas time. I love the softness of it and seriously it's totally luxurious. HOWEVER, and this is a HUGE however, I'm annoyed with it. So, I {probably like most people} go to bed with wet hair sometimes. With this comforter, it's NOT a good idea.

This comforter bleeds. Seriously people. I am so frustrated and annoyed with it. It's NOT a cheap comforter set. I never would have expected it. I have the matching pattern for a shower curtain and it too bleeds. Why in the world would they make something that people are going to get wet {aka the shower curtain} and possibly sleep with wet hair on with fabric that bleeds so easily. I think that one of the bleed marks came from lotion. Seriously.

Here's what the bleed marks look like...

So I wind up having to be extra careful {that or avoid going to bed with wet hair or lotion on} but I still love the comforter. Thankfully where most of the bleeding is no one {but me} notices. Is there anything I can put on it to keep it from bleeding more?

First off I love the comforter set...2nd off...you should write the company!! That's horrible! It's an expensive set but that's besides the point. The quality is no good...you should tell them you sweat at night and it did this! No good...but still pretty! :)

Oh that is so lovely but I can see why you would be frustrated with the bleeding, maybe just be extra careful about what you have around it? I know it's your bed so it is a little hard. I guess next time you'll have to find a comforter that won't bleed, sorry girl! I think it still looks pretty.

You can try to wash it in cold water with white vinegar! The white vinegar should set the color. I'd try it out on a sham first before I stuffed a comforter in a washing machine tho.
