ok boys you probably don't want to read this post even though I know how much you love to pee on things. One of the necessities for anyone TTC is OPKs. I have been searching for the best deal on them since I wind up going through so many of them in a month {depending on if I'm O'ing on schedule or not} so getting lots for cheap is a necessity!
I usually wind up shopping on Amazon for these things cause I can usually buy them in bulk and get free shipping {I'm a prime member}.
the ones I bought are a Combo Pack 40 (LH) Ovulation Tests + 10 Early Detection (HCG) Pregnancy Test Strips for $12.75. That totally rocked my world...especially since Gene HATES it when I buy HPTs because of my phantom pregnancy signals during my 2ww...this way he doesn't know when/if I POAS :)
Part of me would rather have a digital test like the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests for $39.25 {they smile at you!} or the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor for $149 {eek} but I don't know if it would really be worth it for me...both are so much more expensive. I keep telling myself if I don't get pregnant this cycle I'll buy the monitor...but I said that about 6 or 7 cycles ago. I guess if I wasn't getting a + on the cheap sticks I would break down and buy it right now...does anyone use it and love it?

4 brilliant insights:
I've purchased that combo pack before, and I actually need to purchase another. They are so cheap. It's hard to beat a price like that!
I just can't bring myself to buy the expensive ones. I can read the cheap ones..so why not. I also buy the big packs on Amazon. This way I pee away and not feel guilty.
I do have the CBFM - though confess to not using it in quite a while. With my pcos, I didn't find it overly helpful - but one of these days I'm going to buy more test sticks again and just use it for a cycle or two out of mere curiousity.
I've had a couple of friends who swear by the CBFM and have had success with it.
But it is spendy and that definitely is a drawback as the sticks you need for it are spendy too.
At this point I've spent as much on OPK's as I would have if I had just bought the CBFM in the first place.
