I don't do resolutions. Ever. The two times I tried I immediately failed. It's like when I tell myself to do something and I purposely don't. I think I have issues y'all. Seriously.
Instead, I decided to come up with a few goals for 2011. I have seen this on a few blogs and love the idea of it and I think if it's a goal, I'll strive to achieve it...well at least I hope I will. :)
Here are my goals for 2011 {some are borrowed from 101 in 1001 since I need to complete those things!!}
Home Goals:
- Finish installing floors in our downstairs.
- Make our bedroom into a "grown up bedroom".
- Finishing purging all the stuff we don't need or use.
- Get new carpeting upstairs.
Personal:
- Become crafty - sew, cricut, crochet, etc.
- Develop a budget and stick to it.
- Get pregnant and stay pregnant. {yes, I know I don't have a lot of control, but I need this to be this year, please God let it be this year}
- Find a church and grow closer to God again.
- Be more active by doing my new yoga CD {it's the bikram yoga routine that I loved} and go outside and enjoy life more.
- Visit more museums/cultural events.
- Read 100 books {thanks Kaitlin for the challenge}.
- Watch at least 50 of the movies on the Top 100 Movies of all time list.
